Peter Bascom

Head of Construction, Partanna Bahamas

Peter is a civil engineer and construction executive with over two decades of experience. Peter's expertise in cost estimation, bid management, contract negotiation, and construction oversight has been instrumental in the successful completion of large-scale projects in The Bahamas, including the $65 million Airport Gateway Project and the $20 million civil infrastructure project for Albany Developer Ltd.

His career spans numerous high-profile roles, including Vice President at United Orca Construction Ltd., where he oversaw residential and civil construction projects, including the Abaco Clean-up and Reconstruction Project and the South Andros Water Improvement Project. Peter also served as the Deputy Director at the National Recovery & Reconstruction Unit, managing residential construction projects in the aftermath of Hurricane Matthew. 

Peter holds a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from Union College, Schenectady, NY, and an Associate of Science in Construction Technology from the Bahamas Technical & Vocational Institute.
